Bhatoora is a fluffy deep- fried leavened bread from North India. It is often eaten with chole or chane, making it a traditional dish known as "Chole Bhatoore".
Ingredients:-
All purpose flour - 2 cups
Semolina - 3 Tsp
Curd - 1/4 cup
Salt - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2 Tsp
Lukewarm water for kneading
Oil for Frying
Preparation:-

Preparation:-
- Add all the ingredients in a Large bowl and knead a soft dough with the help of water as needed.
- Cover with a wet towel and set it aside for 2-3 hours in warm place.
- Knead the dough again for 4-5 min to make it smooth. Divide the dough in equal parts & make lemon size balls and roll in to thick round shape rotis (4-5 inch).
- Heat oil in a heavy bottomed vessel, once the oil is hot deep fry the Bhatoora in the same way as you fry the pooris.
- Fry the Bhatoora till golden brown.Remove on to the kitchen paper napkin to remove excess oil.
- Serve the hot Bhatoora with Chole or Channa with slice of lemon & finely chopped onion.
